Tia Mowry spoke about the possibility of having a third child with husband Cory Hardrict after the birth of her baby daughter, Cairo.
Tia Mowry is reveling in her gorgeous daughter Cairo and enjoying every moment of her babyhood.
The 40-year-old mother-of-two who gave birth to the baby girl in May 2018, recently responded when asked if she intended to grow her family.
“No. Hell no. No! I am done! Done, done, done! For real!”
Tia responded to the suggestion that she and husband Cory Hardrict might consider having more children in no uncertain terms.
The "Sister Sister" actress's answer was a resounding and emphatic "NO!"
Tia came out about her fertility issues in the hopes that her example might encourage and help other women
Tia, who shares older son Cree Taylor, 8, with Cory, struggled to conceive Cairo due to endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue that is normally on the inside of the womb grows outside. The condition can cause severe pelvic pain, and impede conception.
Tia came out about her fertility issues in the hopes that her example might encourage and help other women with the same problem:
“For some reason, as a ‘celebrity,’ people always think your life is perfect,” I wondered if I would get backlash if I spoke about it, or say I was making up this condition as an excuse. I know it sounds silly, but it’s difficult to be publicly vulnerable.”
Shortly after speaking about her endometriosis, Tia was happy to announce that she had conceived,
In May 2018, she and Cory welcomed their baby girl Cairo Tiahna, a happy outcome to what had been a long and painful journey.
Tia intends to concentrate on raising her family and making sure her children are as happy and well balanced as she and her twin sister, Tamara.
Tia Mowry is a passionate advocate of breastfeeding and she recently shared a photo on Instagram in which she breastfed her daughter Cairo, captioned:
“This is Love. #breastfeeding #motherhood #5months.”
Both Tia and Tamara have breastfed their children and the "Twitches" star is a firm believer in the many health benefits derived from breast milk.
So much so that she donated some of her expressed breast milk to help her sister Tamara recover from a serious bout of viral pneumonia.
The benefits of breast milk for babies is well known, and some adults have been using it to boost their immune system.
