A baby boy has been welcomed to the world and to the family of “Masterchef” star, Gordon Ramsay. The 52-year-old announced the arrival of his newborn son with wife, Tana Ramsay, last Thursday on his social media account. The post included photos from the hospital with the three of them.

With the birth of their son Oscar, also came the birth of his Instagram account which Ramsay tagged in the post. Oscar is their fifth child joining Meghan, 20, Matilda, 17, and twins Jack and Holly, 19.

Among all their kids, only Matilda has an eye for cooking and is in the works of following her dad’s footsteps. In fact, she has her own show, “Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch,” and has made guest appearances with her father in cooking shows like “Big Chef, Little Chef,” and “This Morning.”

Three years ago, Tana suffered a miscarriage while she was five months pregnant. Ramsay then said:

“We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done.”

However, things turned around early this year when Ramsay announced his wife's pregnancy with their fifth child through an Instagram video which included New Year greetings from his family and an excited Ramsay making a baby announcement.

He and his wife have been blessed with amazing children and a beautiful marriage of 23 years. Tana, like Ramsay, is also fond of cooking, making appearances on TV programs such as "UKTV’s Market Kitchen."

She also performed in “Dancing on Ice” with Stuart Widdall, a professional skater, in 2010. However, they were eliminated during the fourth week of the show. She shared with the Telegraph:

“Apparently I said I’d have a fifth baby if I got to the final. It must have been over Christmas when I’d had lots of mulled wine or something. Can you imagine?”

Although Tana didn’t make it to the final, today, what she said came true.
