August Alsina Fuels Rumors about Secret Affair with Jada Pinkett Smith in His New Music Video

August Alsina has fans going crazy about his new music video that seems to confirm rumors that the singer had an affair with actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, who is currently married to Will Smith.

Alsina, 26, and Pinkett-Smith, 47, have had a close relationship for some time now, with the singer once admitting she helped him deal with addiction.

There have been speculations here and there about Alsina and Pinkett-Smith’s relationship, but neither party has addressed it, until now.

In a newly-released video for his cover of Kehlani’s song “Nunya,” Alsina seems to be fueling rumors that he and the “Set It Off” actress had more than just a platonic relationship.

The entire song centers around a conversation between Alsina and a former love interest who did not reciprocate his gestures.

The first tip-off for fans is the name of the lady, “Koren,” which has since been identified as Pinkett-Smith’s middle name. The lyrics also strengthen the notion of a secret affair.

Alsina sings: “I gave you time to make me a priority / Put my feelings out there / You ignored it / Being real is what you can’t afford.”

As though that wasn’t enough, a GIF of Pinkett-Smith also flashes across the screen as the singer belts:

“You got me feeling like it was an act / You’re just an actress!! / Putting on a show / ‘Cause you don’t want the world to know / That you lost a man who loved you all along / Ain’t nunya business to know who I’m with.”

CONTROVERSIAL BIRTHDAY MESSAGE

Last year, Alsina was a guest on Pinkett-Smith’s Facebook Watch series, “Red Table Talk,” where he spoke about battling addiction and credited the actress for helping him through some hard times.

The “Testimony” singer continued with his praise of Pinkett-Smith in a birthday message that caused many to wonder about the closeness of the pair’s relationship.

“I don’t believe in luck. I believe in God’s divine order & you are an example of Gods divinity in its covering over my life,” Alsina wrote, alongside a clip of he and Pinkett-Smith on what looked like a vacation.

He continued:

Now, with his new controversial video, fans are divided over the truth. While many are convinced that Alsina and Pinkett-Smith did have a secret affair, others believe the whole theory is just a publicity stunt to promote the music video.
