'I Want a Wedding,' Tamar Braxton Says She Doesn't Want Sister Toni and Birdman to Elope

Now that it seems the romance and the engagement between Toni Braxton and Birdman are on again, sister Tamar Braxton is looking forward to the wedding.

After all the rumors detailing their break up, Birdman and Toni Braxton are back in love land, and are expected to tie the knot soon.

The R&B legend even hinted at their plans on the reality show she stars in with her sisters, "Braxton Family Values."

TAMAR BRAXTON: "I WANT A BIG WEDDING!"

Toni went so far as to hint about eloping with the rapper on "Braxton Family Values", but her sister Tamar quickly set her straight.

Tamar, 42, told her sister that she wants a big wedding, so running away to Vegas for a quicky at the Elvis Chapel is not an option.

Tamar has recently gone public with her new relationship with Nigerian-born businessman David Adefeso.

Fans were already leery of the relationship's chances after Toni lost the $5 million diamond engagement ring Birdman had given her.

The handsome Adefeso is a Harvard business school graduate and the CEO of "The Pacific Group," a wealth management firm. Is the "big wedding" Tamar is longing for her own?

In January, fans of the R&B singer were startled by posts shared by the star and her boo on their Instagram accounts, hinting at a breakup.

Fans were already leery of the relationship's chances after Toni lost the $5 million diamond engagement ring Birdman had given her.

THE ENGAGEMENT WAS NEVER OFF

Now, Toni has come out and revealed that there never was a break-up. The rumor started somehow, and the couple didn't deny it in order to get a little privacy for their love life.

Whether or not Tamar will get her wish for a big wedding is another issue. Toni had revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that although she wanted a "Big wedding with the dress and everything", Birdman was partial to a Las Vegas-style wedding.

It remains to be seen which of them will get their way.

Fans who were hoping to see Toni Braxton happily settled with her longtime friend-turned-boyfriend Birdman were disappointed when rumors that the couple had broken up started circulating in January 2019.

Those fans can now rest easy, Toni has revealed that there never was a break up, and that the although they didn't start the rumor, the couple were grateful for the privacy it brought them:

"We don't know what happened. It just kind of (came out of nowhere). Someone said it and we were like, 'OK, we'll just ride with it because it'll give us some privacy'."

Recently Birdman let the cat out of the bag when he showed up unnanouced at one of Toni's concerts to pay her a surprise visit, and the loving connection between the two was plain to see. Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the big day.
