Jennifer Lopez's Ex-Husband Marc Anthony Reportedly Reacts to Singer's Engagement

Mark Anthony expressed his excitement over the engagement of his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, to Alex Rodriguez. The two will remain co-parents of their 11-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

During the Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 Order of the Golden Sphinx gala, Us Weekly was able to interview Mark Anthony. The 50-year-old singer joyfully exclaimed his happiness over the engagement of his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, 49, which was referred to as her “second act.”

Anthony and Lopez were married for ten years; from 2004 to 2014, and have twins, Max and Emme, together. In 2014, Anthony married model Shannon de Lima. However, their marriage also ended in divorce in 2017.

Despite their decision to go separate ways, the two have remained good co-parents to their kids. Last year, the ex-couple attended their daughter’s dance recital in which Lopez’s fiance, Alex Rodriguez, came along.

Lopez and Rodriguez, a former Yankees player, have been dating since February 2017 and got engaged last month. A day after the proposal, cheating allegations sparked controversy as Jose Canseco, former Yankees player, accused Rodriguez of cheating with his ex-wife on Twitter.

However, Conseco was not the only one who came forward with his knowledge of Rodriguez’s cheating. British playboy model, Zoe Gregory, revealed that Rodriguez had been sexting her, asking for threesomes and meet-ups, before the engagement.

The newly engaged was not affected by the allegations and was even spotted being intimate on the set of Lopez's new movie, “Hustler’s.” For a while, the couple remained silent regarding the issue, but later responded to the infidelity claims.

During an interview on “The Breakfast Club,” Lopez was asked about the rumors that surfaced a day after Rodriguez popped the question. The singer-actress simply slammed the critics and said:

“It doesn’t matter; I know what the truth is. I know who he is. He knows who I am; we’re not - we’re just happy. We’re not gonna let, like other people come out and tell us what our relationship is, I know what our relationship is.”
