Al Roker Shares New Photos of Hoda Kotb's Little Girl

The news of Hoda Kotb’s newly adopted daughter Hope has taken the entertainment world by storm, and this is especially true for the “Today” family, which have completely fallen for the adorable little girl.

54-year-old journalist, TV host and author Hoda Kotb and her partner of six years, 61-year-old financier Joel Schiffman have been making headlines since the news about them adding a new member to their family surfaced on April 16.

Soon after Kotb made the bombshell announcement through the phone during the live transmission of the “Today Show” to the amazement of her co-hosts and the audience, present and past members of the team have expressed their joy.

"I am overwhelmed with your kindness ...thank you for the love you have shown us... it means so much. If you are waiting for your miracle... have faith. I am with you.”

First came the turn for former Kotb co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, who addressed the happy news with supporting words for her longtime friend in her first TV appearance since leaving “Today” early in April.

Then, co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager, who joined “Today” in replacement of Gifford, paid a visit to Kotb to meet baby Hope Catherine, and were immediately taken by her, and touched by Kotb’s contagious happiness.

April 18 marked the chance for 64-year-old “Today” weather forecaster Al Roker to meet Kotb’s new bundle of joy at her home, and he too became an instant fan of Hope, as he shared it on his Instagram account.

“So much #happiness spending time with @hodakotb, Grandma Sami and the reason I can’t stop smiling, Big Sister Haley Joy and the newest addition to #TeamHodaandJoel Hope Catherine.”

Roker posted a slideshow of three images. First, he posted a group selfie showing Kotb and her mother to his side as he held Hope in his arms. Then he added a picture with 2-year-old Haley, Kotb, and Hope, all smiles.

On the third snapshot, we can see Roker reading a Sesame Street book to Haley, who was very focused on it. It is one of the few pictures of Kotb’s first daughter not smiling that we have seen since she arrived at Kotb’s life.

But the love and support Kotb has received since adopting Hope don’t limit to her working partners and close friends. Kotb has been getting innumerable messages from her fans in social media as well, and she is most thankful for it.

“Hope is sleeping soundly...and I am reading all of your beautiful messages. I am overwhelmed with your kindness ...thank you for the love you have shown us... it means so much. If you are waiting for your miracle... have faith. I am with you,” the mother-of-two wrote on Instagram.
