Hoda Kotb's Boyfriend Is Reportedly Having More Enthusiastic Thoughts on Marriage Than Her

Celebrity TV host, Hoda Kotb is reportedly not as enthusiastic as her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman who is all pumped about the idea of marriage. The two have been together for six years now and are even building a family together.

However, a friend of Hoda’s while speaking with “Closer Weekly” revealed that Joel is more into the prospects of getting married than Kotb.

The source stated:

“He sees it as a natural progression of things. But Hoda sees them at their ages she being 54, Joel being 60, that they could live out their days blissfully without ever tying the knot.”

The “Quoted by … with Hoda” host might not be ready for an official union but she is sure into her man as any woman in love would be. Hoda not only cherishes her man but she has also chosen to raise a family with him.

After the couple welcomed their baby girl, HaleyJoy Kotb who was adopted in 2017, Hoda while speaking on “The Wendy Williams Show” had nothing but praises to share about her doting partner.

Hoda said:

“He is the finest man I have ever met. I cried on his chest, and my mascara went down because in that minute he knew that there was nothing that could make me happier,”

She added that after the adoption process was completed, she had no doubt that she made the right choice in choosing a lover. The 53-year-old star and her significant other are serious about building a family together as they welcomed another baby girl named Hope Catherine Kotb.

The “Today” show broadcaster and her lover met back in 2013, and according to her, it was at “an event I didn’t want to go to.” Speaking with Andy Cohen, Hoda recounted how she met Joel. She explained that it was a rainy day and she had been reluctant to attend the function, but she was supposed to give a speech; hence, her appearance. She said:

“It was pouring rain. It was a bunch of Wall Street guys. I had to give a speech. They were bored…”

She continued as she mentioned that while she tried to exit the event, Schiffman got her attention and she made her inquiries about him being single before she handed out her email address.

Joel Schiffman, 60, has a successful career in finance and is head of the United States Defined Contribution and Insurance sales at an investment organization.
