Gwen Stefani Turns Heads in a Silver Mini-Dress at the Met Gala
Gwen Stefani impressed in an age-defying silver mini-dress teamed with provocative thigh-high boots at the Met Gala 2019.
The 49-year-old singer last attended the star-studded event in 2013, and her 2019 looks surely didn't disappoint.
"Gwen will be dripping in jewels like she just cleaned out Cartier, Van Cleef and Harry Winston in one fell swoop!"
Following a six-year absence, she was spotted slipping into different Moschino looks for her night out on the arm of director Jeremy Scott, who dressed her for the occasion.
Earlier in the evening, Stefani looked incredible as she strolled the pink carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a dazzling bejeweled leotard. She set off with a high ponytail and her trademark red lipstick.
At the after-party, the "Hollaback Girl" singer wore a tank and miniskirt combo studded with Swarovski crystals. She completed her look with fishnet stockings and over-the-knee Casadei “Blade” boots.
In an interview with Vogue, Scott said: "The look I designed for Gwen is a mix of all the kinds of camp iconography that she and I love. There is some showgirl Vegas feathery fluff, some sparkly razzle dazzle rhinestones, and some old-school French boudoir bombshell action going on."
"Gwen will be dripping in jewels like she just cleaned out Cartier, Van Cleef and Harry Winston in one fell swoop!" he added.
Meanwhile, Stefani, who announced her relationship with Blake Shelton in September 2015, told reporters she wished her boyfriend would land an invite to the prestigious event.
"We've been talking about Blake being here all day and fantasizing about it, and that will never happen! Ever!" she said.
Recently, Shelton gushed about Stefani on Twitter, posting a snap of his partner at the Met Gala. He captioned the post, "Here’s one tweet I can get right... Holy Moly!!!!"
The couple fell in love while serving as coaches on "The Voice." Both of them announced their split from their former spouses a few months earlier.
