Living up to a name like Jane Fonda can be quite tricky yet her son, Troy Garity is in the works of following her footsteps in his acting career. The American actor starred in a few films which earned him fame and awards for his skill in the field.

The American actor’s talent in acting does not come as a surprise given that his Academy Award-winning mother is known as one of the best actresses in Hollywood.

Apart from having a successful career, Garity’s relationship with fellow actress, Simone Bent, has been nothing short of amazing, despite their involvement in show business. Unlike other couples who find nothing wrong with the hookup and break up culture, these two believe in everlasting love with their one and only.

Garity and Bent were engaged in 2006 and tied the knot the year after. Since then, the two decided to maintain a private life in love and understanding which Fonda approves of herself.

Having a Fonda as a mother contributed to the making of the man Garity is today. Her hard work and strong-willed personality have made her a role model to her many fans.

Apart from being an iconic figure in Hollywood, Fonda is an activist who opposed the Vietnam War in the ‘70s and participated in the most significant movements over the last half-century of history. Through a series of broadcasts on the radio, she spoke out against policies in the U.S. military.

Fonda also fights for environmental, civil, and women’s rights, apart from doing charitable work occasionally. The renowned actress began the Fonda Family Foundation to support her different causes.
