Shemar Moore Has Never Ruled out a Return to 'Criminal Minds'
“Criminal Minds” heartthrob Shemar Moore may have left the series but he never said he will not make a return. The actor, who played Derek Morgan in the hit American drama series, departed after the 11th season.
According to TV Guide, Moore hinted at the possibility of a return by saying “anything’s possible.”
"I told all the fans, I keep telling them those elevators closed and they can always open up again."
Fans would definitely love to see their beloved character back on screen!
Having recently stepped back into the shoes of Malcolm Winters on “The Young and the Restless”, the actor further joked how he would return to the show if Malcolm needed to come back and take care of business.
Since Criminal Minds is coming to an end with its 15th season, fans are hoping to see Derek Morgan in the show for the last time.
Moore is currently busy with his role on CBS drama “S.W.A.T.” However, his new work did not keep him from making a brief return to Criminal Minds in Season 12 and 13.
Speaking of his acting career, Moore shared how he treats it like school.
The Young and the Restless: eight years. [That was] high school. Criminal Minds: college. Now I'm ready for grad school, a Ph.D., whatever you want to call it,” he said.
Revealing the reason for his departure, Moore said he was “just ready to grow” and wanted to take a leap.
“I'm not leaving to go be a big star. I'm not leaving to go make a bunch of money…I'm leaving because I just creatively want to be fueled and [am] excited to try new things and see what else I'm capable of,” he explained.
Recently, Moore treated his fans with a topless photo on his 49th birthday. The sizzling birthday snap featured his rock-hard and an irresistibly toned body.
