Michael Jackson's Son Prince Graduates from LMU with Honors
Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., more commonly known as Prince Jackson, has recently graduated with cum laud honors from Loyola Marymount University and he couldn't be prouder.
The amazing news was shared by the honors student, who took to his official Instagram account to post a photo of himself with his grandmother, Katherine Jackson.
It has been reported that Katherine became his official guardian, as well as Paris Jackson's and "Blanket" Jackson's, after his father's untimely death on June 25, 2009.
HIS CONSTANT SUPPORT SYSTEM
In the post, Prince thanked his cousin, T.J. Jackson, as well as his brothers, Taryll Jackson and Taj Jackson, for motivating him and keep on pushing him to graduate.
According to the 22-year-old, they were the motivation he needed when he felt like quitting. He also thanked the teaching institution for making him grow as a person and for implementing Jesuit values.
CELEBRATING WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Prince explained that he believes those same values inspire graduates such as himself to "continue to change the world for the better" and really make a difference.
T.J. was present during the graduation ceremony that took place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, along with La Toya Jackson and Blanket, who didn't miss the chance to support Prince.
Paris didn't make it to the ceremony but revealed how proud she was of her big brother by posting a photo of herself with him on her Instagram stories.
Prince, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, said:
"Honestly I can’t tell you if all of it was worth it yet but I am proud of my degree as I believe it is a testament to my dedication and discipline."
THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING "LEAVING NEVERLAND"
This was a beautiful and happy moment in the Jackson family history, especially since "Leaving Neverland," the horrifying documentary about their father, shocked the world.
In the documentary, James Safechuck and Wade Robson claimed that the King of Pop molested them, but the Jackson children don't believe them and reportedly want the accusers to face responsibility for their claims.
It has been reported that the three siblings are prepared to file a lawsuit of emotional distress, fraud and misrepresentation against Safechuck and Robson and demand an apology over their allegations.
