Time flies so fast. The children of yesterday are now all grown up and have become parents. That is exactly the case for Italia, daughter of the rapper, LL Cool J, who has a son that looks just like her father.
Every parent hopes to see their children grow up and excel in all that they do, and also surpass their achievements. LL Cool J and his wife, Simone Smith are living the joy of parenthood as their daughter, Italia, is all grown up and added to the family number after the birth of her son, King James.
Baby King James is so cute and looks so much like his grandpa, LL Cool J. Baby James’ grandma, Simone Smith, wished her daughter, Italia a Happy Mother’s Day and thanked her for blessing their lives with the little cutie.
She accompanied the post with a cute photo of the mother and son. Commenters praised Simone for bringing up Italia so well and also wished her Happy Mother’s day. Italia who was also among the commenter, used the medium to tell her mother that she loves her.
One particular commenter chose to reflect on how Italia had grown, recalling the times when Simone used to babysit her just as she (Italia) is babysitting Baby James. It is barely two years since LL Cool J walked Italia down the aisle to marry the love of her life, Lamar Cardinez.
The wedding was quite a spectacle and had loads of stars in attendance such as Cookie Johnson, Mary J. Blige, Niecy Nash, Monica, etc. The wedding held at the Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery in Long Island, New York. The Smith family were so happy for Italia and celebrated the wedding in style.
LL Cool J and his wife sure know how to "rock" a party. The Smiths were in a more celebratory mood for the arrival of King James as they celebrated Italia’s baby shower in grand royal style.
They erected a throne section for Italia and her husband and also filled the room with delightful decorations. Baby King James is definitely going to enjoy growing up with his grandparents.
LL Cool J and Simone have been married for 23 years, and they still rock. The rapper dedicated his 1998 hit song, “Candy” to his wife, and the proud Simone has promised to remain his Candy forever.
