Neymar Skips Big Soccer Award to Hang out with Rihanna as She Makes History by Joining to LVMH

Neymar ditched bis big award night in France to hang out with "Powerful woman" Rihanna. The footballer decided to take a break from football as he enjoyed a night out with the singer.

He shared the picture of himself and Rihanna on his Instagram account, leaving their combined 187 million followers stunned. Neymar later posted the image on his Instagram live with the caption,

"Queen and Powerful woman."

Rihanna, who was in Paris to promote her new fashion brand, was joined by Neymar to the shock of many. Most were stunned by the development not because the duo hanging out is some sort of bizarre occurrence but because the footballer chose to chill with the American singer instead of his teammates.

The "Paris Saint-Germain" forward who just recovered from a metatarsal injury was absent from a football award night which was graced by his teammates, but that did not stop his teammate, Kylian Mbappe, from winning the biggest awards of the night after enjoying a wonderful season.

The 20-year-old who is also the highest goal scorer of the league won "The Best Player of the Year" award and also "The Best Young Player of the Year" award that night. Despite being outshined by his teammate, Neymar was also a winner.

Even with his injuries that cost him half of the season, the former Barcelona player won a spot in the division team of the year. PSG dominated the team of the year with a total of 6 players, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Angel Di Maria, Marco Verratti, Neymar and Mbappe.

The 27-year-old has been linked to Spanish giants, Real Madrid, but he hasn't said anything about the possible transfer. The Brazilian forward has also been named in the team that will represent Brazil at the EURO 2019 competition.

Regardless of all the big wins, Neymar decided to be by Rihanna's side, and most people are wondering why?
