Paula Deen Shares Sweet New Photo of Grandson Matthew on His 8th Birthday

The beloved queen of southern cooking, Paula Deen, is capable of making many delicacies from spicy courses to sweet dessert. On May 19, she showed her fans that she can make sweet posts as well.

The celebrity chef took to Instagram on the occasion of her grandson Matthew’s 8th birthday. “Happy 8th birthday to my sweet Matthew! Guinny can't believe how quickly time flies when you're havin' fun. I love you, Matty! #pauladeen #grandson#birthday” she captioned the post.

The post, which featured little Matthew posing as if a giant shark was about to eat him, brought along a huge wave of likes and comments on Instagram. Paula’s fans were not behind on supporting Matthew on his birthday and appreciated Paula for being such an amazing grandma.

“Happy 8th Birthday Matthew, I have a Grandson Matthew 9 isn’t being a Grandparent the best “ Grandma is my name, Spoiling is my game”.” a fan wrote.

Paula’s sons, Jamie and Bobby dean are holding their mother’s line of work, they have been featured on numerous cooking shows. They have also written books together. Bobby’s show "Not My Mama’s Meals" airs on the Cooking Channel.

Bobby also hosted the "Spring Baking Championship" as well as the "Holiday Baking Championship" on the Food Network, with a total of 8 pastry-savvy chefs who went head to head on a seasonal baking competition with the hopes of winning a sweet spot in the hearts of judges.

The queen of southern cooking has always had a watchful eye on her sons who have their own restaurant called "The Lady & Sons". Paula has made herself a worthy figure to look up to for her them. This proves true in case of her grandson Matthew as well, she is making way for some family time through her schedule.

When her son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Claudia gave birth to premature triplets, Amelia, Olivia, and Linton, the concerned grandma took to her Facebook page and announced through a video that the babies were born at a mere 26 weeks and 4 days, which was barely the third trimester.
