Stacey Solomon Gives Birth 'Earlier Than Planned'
"Loose Women" star Stacey Solomon is believed to have given birth one month too early. Her boyfriend Joe Swash confirmed that both mother and baby are doing well.
Joe Swash confirmed the news on Instagram by sharing a photo of Stacey still in her hospital bed, with the newborn sleeping on her chest. He wrote in the caption:
"A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world. We are overwhelmed, overjoyed, and apprehensive of what’s to come."
He added that "mummy and baby are well and resting," and said that they are grateful for all the love and support received from their family, friends, and fans.
Swash was "lost for words" and said he was going to spend the "next few days and the rest of [his] life falling more in love with these two humans."
The 29-year-old Solomon is already mother to 11-year-old Zachary and seven-year-old Leighton from a previous relationship.
In addition, Swash has 11-year-old Harry, whom he shares with Emma Sophocleous, a former fiance. Swash and Sophocleous parted ways in 2008.
Solomon is an English singer and television personality most famously known for her part on "The X Factor," "Loose Women," and "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!"
