Loni Love Ditches Her Wigs & Flaunts Her Natural Curls in 'Hiatus' Photo

Loni Love took off her wigs and let fans see how amazing she looks with her real, curly hair.

Loni Love's fans might not recognize her from the recent photo she posted on Instagram.

Instead of her usual slick, sophisticated hairstyles, Loni sports a mop of playfully tousled curls.

TAKING A BREAK FROM "THE REAL"

"The Real," the hit talk show which Loni co-hosts with Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley is on summer break.

For 47-year-old Loni, it is an opportunity to doff her wigs and sport what she calls her "hiatus hair," and her fans loved it.

The Hollywood stylists on the sets of the shows Loni works on can't handle her hair.

The response from Loni's admiring fans was overwhelming, with compliments on her new look and lots of questions about how she maintains that enviable shiny mop of glossy curls.

LONI LOVE: "WIGS PROTECT MY HAIR"

If fans who love the new look are wondering why Loni covers up her natural curls, the answer is simple.

“I do it as protective style. I do two to three shows a day up to 15 shows in a week..tv and comedy shows.. my hair would wear out under lights and heat. I’ve been doing it for fifteen years that is why I have hair. I take care of it,” she said.

HOLLYWOOD STYLISTS WON'T DO IT FOR LONI LOVE

The wigs are also a practical solution to a thorny problem: the Hollywood stylists on the sets of the shows Loni works on can't handle her hair.

“Honey I have brought my whole glam kit, flat irons, pink lotion, Shea butter at times during a new set. I’m tired of looking grey with red lips,” she said.

Slick and sophisticated in her power wigs, or sporting her gorgeous natural curls, Loni Love is always stunning, a "Real" star in the true sense of the word.

TIA MOWRY FLAUNTS HER NATURAL BEAUTY

Loni Love is following in the footsteps of her co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tia Mowry.

Tia, the host of the Cooking Channel show "Tia Mowry at Home," posted a photo on Instagram in which she showed off her natural, curly hair.

The 40-year-old posed showed off her natural beauty, with no makeup, and with her hair loose and unstyled.

Tia flaunted her grey hair and many praised her for revealing her true self when so many women desperately cover up every little flaw and the slightest sign of aging.
