Beth Chapman Says ‘Time Is Not on Our Side’ as She Receives Support from Co-Star Bobby Brown
Bobby Brown showed his support to “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star Beth Chapman amid her personal drama online. Brown, who had a falling out with the Chapmans in 2011, reached out to his old friend through social media.
Brown appeared on several episodes of A&E reality series and also worked behind the scenes until he was allegedly cut out of the show’s profit in 2011. However, he did not hesitate to show support to an old friend when she was feeling low despite their dramatic past.
Chapman took to Twitter to express her sadness over the fact that her stepdaughter Lyssa Chapman did not reach out to her on mother’s day. Also, she claimed that Lyssa did not invite her and husband Duane “Dog” Chapman for their granddaughter Abbie’s high school graduation.
“I’m very disappointed today. knowing that not only did my daughter @BabyLyssaC not acknowledge me on Mother’s Day yet texted some of my friends wishing them a HMD She decides to exclude her dad and I from ABBIES graduation on Friday,” she tweeted.
She further added that she would have “moved a mountain” to be at her granddaughter’s graduation.
Brown, who lost his mother three years ago, could empathize with her heartbreaking situation.
“All I can say is that after my mom passed over 3 years ago, I second guessed WHY did I pass on times that I know I could have spent even more time with her or whatever. I wish for every child that still has MOM and DAD...NO REGRETS, #NoGrudges, Reach out and say "I Love You." RT,” he tweeted.
Chapman’s unfortunate situation brought the old friends back together as she appreciated Brown’s support in another tweet. She expressed how she regrets not being able to bring her dad to Hawaii during his final days and that regret is “not fun to live with.”
Lyssa denied her stepmother’s accusations in a now deleted tweet, saying that she did write to her on Mother’s Day and that Beth had no plans to attend Abbie’s graduation since she was "off island."
