48-year-old Kelly Ripa and her husband of the same age Mark Consuelos are parents to three children, and on June 2 the oldest of them, Michael, arrived at his 22nd birthday, prompting his parents to pay tribute to him on Instagram.

CELEBRATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

“Happy Birthday @michaelconsway talented, handsome, smart, kind, and 22. You started this whole thing!” the “Live! with Kelly and Ryan” host captioned a clip made out of throwback images of her oldest child.

Mark and Ripa have been married for more than 20 years, which makes them one of Hollywood’s longest-running couples, and as we can see on their very active social media, they are pretty much in love still.

“Happy 22 to our #1.. @michaelconsway...you’ve led the way...We love you. So proud of you. (Photo cred. Australian photo booth 2002),” Mark captioned his own 12-year-old photo of his son next to him, all smiles in a photo booth.

The grown-up son of the longtime couple received good wishes from some of his parent’s celebrity friends in the comments section of both Ripa’s and Mark’s Instagram posts, including TV host Andy Cohen, who shares Michael’s birthday.

HE SHARES HIS PARENTS’ VOCATION

Michael has followed his parents’ step and is now an actor, having landed his first significant TV role the last year when he played a younger version of his father’s character on “Riverdale,” Hiram Lodge.

“Working with my son was probably one of the most exciting things I’ve gotten to experience,” Mark told Esquire back in April about Michael’s part in the drama series inspired by the “Archie” comics.

It was emotional for me, to see him practicing his lines and coming to set. He was so earnest about it. It really was a bucket-list moment for me.”

The young actor, who looks remarkably similar to his father, is also attending college at New York University, where he is majoring in film and TV production.

Michael is the oldest of three siblings, the others being 17-year-old sister Lola and 16-year-old brother Joaquin.

A PICTURE-PERFECT MARRIAGE

Mark and Ripa have been married for more than 20 years, which makes them one of Hollywood’s longest-running couples, and as we can see on their very active social media, they are pretty much in love still.

But even when they are the living example of a perfect marriage nowadays, Ripa recently admitted that the relationship almost came to an end when they had a breakup right before they decided to tie the knot.

"Right before we got married, we broke up. We broke up and we got back together the day before we went off and eloped. Yeah, we eloped. We went to Vegas and got married," Ripa revealed on a “Betche’s Comments by Celebs” podcast episode.

Mark, on the other hand, confessed that even after 23 years married, he still has things left to figure out, and doesn’t see himself as a model husband to lead with the example.

"I'm an incredibly slow learner, so I feel like I'm just getting it," he joked. "Like, 'Oh, this is what you're supposed to do,' or, 'OK, sometimes 'yes' means 'no.' After 23 years, I'm just learning that -- so, I don't think I could give anybody advice," he said.
