LeBron James & Dwyane Wade's Sons Bronny & Zaire Will Be High School Teammates Next Season
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade may be teammates again but this time because of their sons who'll be playing for the same high school this fall. The NBA stars reportedly moved their boys to Sierra Canyon High School for a better future in basketball.
Former teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade will be watching on the sidelines together if news of their sons playing basketball for the same school is legit. According to the Los Angeles Times, Lebron "Bronny" James Jr. and Zaire Wade will be going to Sierra Canyon High School in the coming fall and playing for the school team.

A BETTER FUTURE IN BASKETBALL
Bronny, 14, will be entering the team as a sophomore. He used to go to Santa Monica Crossroads but his father reportedly saw Chatsworth’s Sierra Canyon as a better option for his future in basketball. His brother, Bryce who’s 11 will also be moving to the school with him.
Meanwhile, Zaire who’s a top guard in Florida is also rumored to be transferring to California where he’ll be enrolling as a senior at Sierra. The 17-year-old seemed to confirm this when he shared a photo wearing his new school’s jersey alongside Bronny who’s also clad in the Blazers uniform.
LIKE FATHERS, LIKE SONS
Should Bronny and Zaire join forces for Sierra, it will be a team-up reminiscent of their fathers’ past. LeBron and Dwyane won two NBA titles together playing for the Miami Heat from 2010 to 2014. They parted ways after LeBron decided to return to the Cavaliers, his original team before moving to Miami. After three years, Dwyane joined LeBron in Cleveland but only stayed for a year. He was traded back to Miami after a series of losses.
“Whether we was teammates, whether we was opponents, we brought the best out of each other."
BEYOND BASKETBALL
Throughout their time together and even after, LeBron and Dwyane managed to stay friends. In fact, they swapped jerseys in 2018 when they went head to head during the finals between the Lakers, LeBron’s current team and Dwyane’s Miami Heat. It was Dwyane’s last season with the NBA because he retired right after.
Wade fondly spoke of his friendship with LeBron during an interview with ESPN after his retirement.
“Whether we was teammates, whether we was opponents, we brought the best out of each other. I’m just thankful that I had the opportunity to be able to be drafted at the same time as this guy. The friendship that we have, you guys know that’s beyond basketball.”
FAMILY MEN
Dwyane and LeBron are also both family men who delight in spending time with their children. LeBron often shares images of his three kids and his wife, Savannah.
Meanwhile, Dwyane just welcomed his first child, a girl with his wife, Gabrielle Union. The pair are currently in Greece enjoying some we-time without their six-month-old. This is their first time traveling since Dwyane retired from basketball last year.
Seeing that their sons will be teammates soon, it’s more likely these two will be forging on with their friendship, sharing notes as coaches to their offspring. It would be interesting to see both superstar dads cheering on their sons when they root for them from the same team.
