Lauren Duggar Tenderly Embraces 'Rainbow Baby' Bump in New Photos
The “Counting On” reality star shared an emotional moment showing off her adorable baby bump in her latest social media post.
Lauren Duggar, the wife of Josiah Duggar, posted an emotional snapshot of herself lovingly touching her baby bump, expressing her gratitude for her "rainbow baby."
Duggar recently lost her first child to a miscarriage, a tragic message she shared with her fans back in February.
Meanwhile, in the recent photo posted on Instagram, Duggar seems to be trying to move on from the grief of her loss as she prepares to welcome her new baby into the world.
Dressed in a beautiful, bright red dress that features floral patterns, Duggar is seen caressing her belly while giving away a faint smile.
In the caption to her post, she quoted a verse from the Bible and added, “So thankful for you.” The Biblical verse read, “Psalm 139:13-14 ~ For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
She further added three hashtags that read, “rainbow baby,” “blessed mama,” and “God is faithful. Many of her fans immediately took to the comments section to praise Duggar for the beautiful snapshot.
They were quick to congratulate Duggar on her new baby and to lend words of consolation for the baby she previously lost.
Instagram user “mamakay2016” wrote about her own experience of having a "rainbow baby," and admitted that it is difficult to “move on with life from a loss.”
However, she stressed that “the beauty cannot be taken away” because “God is so good.”
Similarly, another fan consoled Duggar by writing that “the God has a way of making the bond with the next one a little different, a little deeper.”
Besides comments of consolation, Duggar also received messages of adoration for her gorgeous dress. Several fans called the dress “pretty” and paid Duggar a compliment for rocking the dress elegantly.
One special person, amid all the commenters, was her sister Anna Duggar who simply wrote, “You’re so adorable.”
Recently, Anna received harsh criticism on social media for being “insensitive” after she posted a throwback pregnancy picture of herself despite knowing about her sister’s tragic miscarriage.
Fans were upset about the photograph she posted on May 3, which featured her along with sisters Joy and Jill.
