Melania Trump Stuns in Classy Beige Coat but All Eyes Are on Her $60k Leather Bag
US President Donald Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump are currently on a state visit to the UK by way of an invitation from the Queen. On Tuesday, the couple attended a party.
Melania Trump and her husband, Donald Trump, were on hand this week for a garden party outside 10 Downing Street. The presidential couple was joined by Prime Minister Theresa and husband Philip May.
The first lady was well prepared for the weather as she proved once more why she’s a style icon. She was pictured wearing a classy mid-length beige Celine trench coat for the event.
The coat also featured utility pockets. Even though the coat wasn’t hard to miss, what drew the most attention was the black shiny Niloticus crocodile Hermes Birkin 25 handbag she held.
Her accessory had gold detail on it and was estimated at $60k. According to high-end personal shopper Amber Gordon, the bag’s material is what makes it expensive.
Gordon explained: "Niloticus is very rare as it comes from a Nile Crocidle in South Africa - so it's hard to come by." The bag has been seen with celebrities like Victoria Beckham.
The first lady wore black snakeskin Manolo Blahnik heels to complete her look. She’s worn the shoes before in August 2017 while doing a relief visit after a Hurricane Harvey disaster.
The party was being held for families of staff from Number10 and the US Embassy in London. It’s the second day that the Trumps are in the UK.
Melania appeared to enjoy the festivities as she met the children who waved British and American flags at the event. She was also handed flowers as she walked with Philip.
Her husband and the Prime Minister held talks inside Downing Street discussing Brexit, Iran, Huawei, and climate change. Later on, the US president held a press conference.
There he thanked the Queen and the Prime Minister for welcoming him and his wife to Britain. He called the monarch “a fantastic woman” and Theresa “a tremendous professional.”
On Wednesday, the Trumps ended their state visit to the UK by attending the D-Day landings ceremony in Portsmouth. Again, the first lady stunned in a white wool coat, which had a belt around the waist, and accessorized with a large white hat by Philip Treacy.
She was joined by the Queen, her husband, and the Prime Minister.
