Prince Louis Channels Prince Harry’s Outfit from 1986 as He Makes His Palace Balcony Debut
Prince Louis made his debut on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in a cute outfit similar to Prince Harry’s from 1986’s Trooping the Colour.
PRINCE LOUIS’ ROYAL DEBUT
The little royal put on a white and blue collared shirt tucked in a pair of blue shorts as his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, took turns holding their youngest son.
At one-year-old, Louis celebrated in high-spirits, eagerly waving and clapping with the spectators, alongside his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, marking a milestone for the youngest Cambridge royal.
A ROYAL CELEBRATION FOR THE QUEEN
The annual Trooping the Colour celebrated on Saturday marked the Queen’s official birthday which began with her arrival at Horse Guard’s Parade in Whitehall where she was greeted by salutes from Life Guards and Blues and Royals, wearing ceremonial uniforms.
Her Majesty’s 93rd birthday celebration also marked the first public appearance of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, since her birth to baby Archie over a month ago.
Included in the occasion’s festivities were parades with the ceremonial regimental flag from the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, four of the five Foot Guards regiments of the Households Division, marching in bearskins and scarlet tunics, and a 41-gun salute in Green Park by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.
The day concluded with Typhoon jets and Puma and Chinook helicopters flying past the venue and showing the Red Arrows, which the royal family watched from the Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
MARKLE’S FIRST APPEARANCE
Her Majesty’s 93rd birthday celebration also marked the first public appearance of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, since her birth to baby Archie over a month ago. The new mom wore a Clare Waight Keller dress and a Noel Stewart hat.
The most recent royal engagement where Markle did not attend was the state visit of President Donald Trump last week, where dinner was hosted in Buckingham Palace with the presence of the royal family.
Markle is not a Trump supporter as derived from her 2016 statements about the president which she made during her appearance on “The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore.” Trump, who was then a presidential candidate, was referred to as “divisive” and “misogynistic” by the then “Suit’s” actress.
"Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right? I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number, and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it," Markle said.
