NeNe Leakes Forced to Sit out First Part of 'RHOA' Season 12 after Fight: Report

NeNe Leakes' future in "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" may be on the line as producers ask her to sit out the first half of next season due to her bad behavior. Meanwhile, her rival, Kenya Moore's return to the show is almost a done deal. 

NeNe Leakes will have more free time on her hands in the next few months. Reports reveal she’ll be sitting out a portion of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” 12th season. 

CAST ASIDE DUE TO CLOSET CLAWS

According to the publication, producers decided to take disciplinary action against the reality star after her violent outburst on the set. If you recall, there was a closet incident that transpired during the reunion show where NeNe injured a crew member.

She’s reportedly forced to sit out the first half of season 12 or even more depending on how the filming goes.

NeNe’s unfortunate suspension coincides with Kenya Moore’s return to the show. The new mom who left before Season 11 is reportedly finalizing her deal with producers for her comeback.

With Kenya returning, it’s unclear if she’s agreed to expose her husband and their daughter but she’s definitely excited and so are her co-stars.

Kenya bowed out last season after she refused to share her married life on television. Rumors suggested her producers were also displeased with her when she secretly wed Marc Daly.

Meanwhile, NeNe may not be as thrilled as her other co-stars over Kenya’s return. She made that perfectly clear when Kenya made a surprise cameo in Season 11's finale. NeNe was visibly upset and even lashed out at her co-stars for not giving her a heads-up. However, she did say in the past that she was open to a reconciliation with Kenya so we'll just have to wait and see how that turns out.

There is also talk that producers are in search of a big name to add to the roster of the reality series.

As for NeNe, her response to all the rumors was a selfie with her tongue out and her hand flashing a peace sign. She added, “Happiness over everything” in her caption and the hashtag #byeforever.

Meanwhile, a rep for Bravo dismissed rumors of NeNe’s exclusion in episodes of the coming season saying the only reason NeNe has been inactive is due to the ongoing negotiations with her contract.
