Daphne Zuniga of 'Melrose Place' Gets Married to David Mleczko in an Intimate Ceremony

Daphne Zuniga is a happily married woman after putting off the commitment for over a decade. The former "Melrose Place" actress opened up about her new status.

Zungia, best known for her roles on "One Tree Hill" and "Melrose Place," finally tied the knot with her longtime partner David Mleczko in an intimate ceremony last week.

In an interview with People magazine two days before the event, Zuniga said it was just family she wanted because she didn't want to put on an act similar to times in the past when she played the role of a bride.

About 30 attendees were present at the Oleana Restaurant in Cambridge Massachusetts on Saturday, June 8. Zuniga, 56, looked gorgeous in a white off-shoulder Nicole Miller gown.

The groom wore a Ralph Lauren jacket for the occasion. The vows were reportedly self-written and read by officiator, Zuniga's close friend and author Sharon Salzberg.

In a post-interview with People, Zuniga revealed that her "favorite moment was listening to David's beautiful words." The decor included a floral arrangement by Field & Vase and featured a three-course meal.

The newly married couple selected Tiffany & Co as their choice for wedding rings. A party the night before took place at Cedar Hill Dairy Joy where Zuniga danced with her father.

Zuniga and Mleczko met 12 years ago on a blind date, but they only got engaged two years ago. Zuniga explained that she waited so long because she thought her "wings were going to be clipped" after marriage.

She revealed that she was totally wrong about Mleczko, who fully support her and her career and rid her of any fear. This is Mleczko's second marriage. He is a co-founder of Signature Green, a PR company.

For Zuniga, it's her first time tying the knot and she said: "it feels amazing." The actress also said her heart bursts every time she thinks of it and said she's calling Mleczko " 'husband' like a thousand times a day.' "

She added: “I love being married! I feel younger, really happy and have more energy. I keep looking at my ring and hugging my new husband!” Our congratulations go out to the newlyweds.

Meanwhile, another former star of "Melrose Place" has not been so lucky in recent times. Heather Locklear visited a rehabilitation center in summer last year following an arrest due to a violent confrontation with her boyfriend.

The star disappeared from social media for four months but was reportedly at the center for one. She returned to Instagram in August by sharing a photo of her Maltese dog.

"Sun shining day," she captioned the picture. The actress reportedly went to the center for overdosing mere hours after she was released by police for attacking them during the arrest.
