North West Turns 6 and Kim K. Has a Message for Her 'Sweet Girl'

Giving birth to your first child will always be special, especially since you get used to the ins and outs of pregnancy and motherhood because of them. Now, Kim shares a touching tribute to her own firstborn, North West, whom she says is the best thing to ever happen to her.

A mother's love

Kim Kardashian-West loves her children dearly, and she is not ashamed to share that with everyone. Now that her firstborn, North, has turned 6-years-old, the proud mother shared a touching tribute on Instagram, that definitely melted our hearts.

“Happy Birthday my sweet girl! The last 6 years have been the best of my life raising you and seeing you grow up. Mommy loves you forever and beyond!”

The 38-year-old gave birth to North on June 15, 2013, and since then, she's fallen more and more in love with her beautiful daughter.

A proud grandmother

Of course, the rest of the Kardashian clan had to greet North, who is close to her grandmother and all her aunts. Kris Jenner shared a lengthy message for her granddaughter, saying what a light she in their lives.

The proud grandmother adds that aside from being so beautiful and intelligent, she also has a beautiful heart and soul.

Being a part of a famous family

North has had to get used to the attention that comes with being the child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. When she began asking "why" they were always being followed around, Kim had to think of ways how to explain it to her.

“To get very technical—my name is Kim Kardashian. And Daddy is Kanye West. And Daddy is a singer, performer, artiste. Mommy has so many talents I can’t even begin to name them.”

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star shared more on the moment on an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, saying that she was joking a little bit when she answered.

“As they get older, we’ll continue to have that conversation and just explain to them.”
