The Obama family is currently vacationing in France and not only have they been serving style inspiration, but the former first family is also making sure to spend their summer trip in luxury.

According to Daily Mail, former president Barack Obama, his wife Michelle, and daughters, Malia and Sasha flew into Avignon in the south of France on Friday for a one-week stay.

While in the Provencal city, the Obamas are reportedly staying at Le Mas des Poiriers, a luxurious 18th-century farmhouse on Bathelasse island.

With two chefs, two waiters, and full-time housekeeping as part of the package, the Obamas have more time

The luxe spot, according to a quoted report, rents for 55,000 euros for the week, which comes to about $60,000 for the entire time the Obama family will be there.

Per the outlet, Le Mas des Poiriers is a 65-acre property that boasts a pear orchard, a tennis court, swimming pool, and lush gardens ideal for some strolling.

The house itself reportedly comes with seven bedrooms, a large family room with equally large windows that let in natural light, and a large kitchen with a large family dining table in the center. There is also a formal dining table that seats up to 18 guests.

With two chefs, two waiters, and full-time housekeeping as part of the package, the Obamas have more time to either tour the city or stay indoors for some much-needed break while the French regional police and the United States Secret Service provide security.

Despite the learning trip, Malia and Sasha managed to make fashion statements

Since arriving in Avignon on Friday, Malia, 20, and Sasha, 18, have been out and about sightseeing at a nearby antique market and hanging out with friends.

Malia just completed her second year at Harvard while Sasha, who graduated from high school a few days ago, is rumored to be heading to the University of Michigan, so both girls will probably want to make the most of this break.

On Sunday, they joined their father and mother for some touring at the Palais des Papes, the biggest gothic palace in the world built by popes in the 1300s.

Despite the learning trip, Malia and Sasha managed to make fashion statements in their chic ‘n’ comfy summer outfits. While Malia donned a backless jumpsuit with a halter top, Sasha went for a yellow snake-skin dress with a thigh-high slit.

The girls later joined Barack, 57, and Michelle, 55, for some dinner at a renowned French restaurant in Avignon, “La Mirande.”
