The "T.I. and Tiny Friends and Family Hustle" co-star has officially filed for divorce from basketball star Shannon Brown. Despite them parting ways, she greeted him for Father's Day, which earned her much more respect from her fans.

"Happy Fathers Day [Shannon], from the second Laiyah was born you wanted to give her everything & make sure Rock & Melo wanted for nothing! You have treated them all as a part of you. That's an attribute to be appreciated & respected forever. There's no Love like a Fathers Love."

Shannon and Monica got married in November 2010 in a ceremony in Los Angeles, but they only opened up about it in 2011. They share a 5-year-old daughter, Laiyah. However, Shannon also loved Monica's two kids like his own, Rodney, 13, and Romelo, 11.

Appreciating her dads

Monica also made sure to greet her two fathers that day, particularly her biological father and her stepdad who have both been important figures in her life.

"Happy Fathers Day Papa... You gave me everything but my last name!! Treated us with love and care! Reared us, cooked for us, put up with our pranks & not only married our mother but have been LOYAL to, DEDICATED to & HONORABLE towards her! The example I needed was you! Rare Breed but because of you I know it exists!! NO nursing home for you Big Guy. (Our inside joke) you're forever gonna be good! #NoStepUnlessItsBecauseYouSteppedUp"

The "Don't Take It Personal" singer definitely knows how to value the men in her life, and it just shows how much she cherishes and loves her family members dearly.
