Cuba Gooding Jr Vehemently Denies Comedian Claudia Oshry's Sexual Assault Claim

Cuba Gooding Jr. refuses to be labeled as a sexual harasser, as he claims the accusation against him is not true.

The 51-year-old was recently accused of groping a woman's breasts at a New York City club, an accusation that he is vehemently denying.

Now, Claudia Oshry has come forward to accuse Cuba of another allegation, which she announced on her podcast "The Morning Toast."

According to Oshry who released the podcast on June 12, the club incident was not the first time a woman was sexually harassed by Cuba, as another incident allegedly happened when she was 16 years old.

"At the end of the day, like, I don't know if I've ever considered myself to be, like, a victim of sexual assault because I'm not. There are people who are real victims that I would never compare myself to them. But yes, when I was in high school—I was [expletive] 16 years old—Cuba Gooding Jr. [sexually harrassed me], and I felt wild. Like, I felt—I don't even know what the right word is. And now, it's just become, like, a part of who I am. It's a part of my story."

Constant Denial of the Crime

However, after all these accusations, Cuba remains firm that these incidents did not happen and says that he does not even know Oshry. According to his lawyer, Mark Heller,

"Cuba says this incident never happened and he has no recollection of this individual either."

The newest victim to come forward, Oshry, is famous for her "Girl With No Job" podcast. She used the incident as part of her "shtick" in her recent Dirty Jeans comedy tour.

According to her, if Gooding wants to "abuse" her, then it's fine, but she'll use it for what it's worth, which is a statement that may be widely misinterpreted by other people.

"You want to put your finger up my butt without my consent? Fine. But I'm going to use it for all that it's worth. It's become, like, this really funny bit in my story."

An On-going Investigation

The Academy Award-winning actor is now being investigated by the NYPD after the accusations against him came to light. At the time the latest incident occurred, he was allegedly drunk and behaving aggressively at the club.

While at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge along 7th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, he groped a woman's breast. The woman ended up having a huge argument with Gooding, which was ultimately broken up by the bar's security personnel.

After the incident, the victim called 911, and responding officers went to the scene to arrest the actor. Unfortunately for them, he was nowhere to be found.

The investigation was forwarded to NYPD and is now under the Special Victims Division.
