Cuba Gooding Jr. under NYPD Investigation after Woman Claims He Got Handsy at a Club

Academy Award-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr is being investigated by the NYPD after he was accused of touching a woman inappropriately.

The "Jerry McGuire" actor is facing an NYPD investigating after a 30-year-old woman claimed he touched her in an inappropriate fashion.

According to the woman, the actor was inebriated at the time of the incident and was behaving aggressively.

WOMAN GROPED BY ACTOR IN MANHATTAN

The actor was at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge on 7th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan when he allegedly grabbed at the woman's breast.

The woman then got into an argument with Gooding which was broken up by security.

The 51-year-old actor has earned a reputation as a hard-partier in recent years

WOMAN CALLED 911 AFTER INCIDENT

Gooding's alleged victim called 911, and responding officers searched the surrounding area but did not find the actor. The case is being handled by NYPD's Special Victims Division.

CLUBGOERS REPORT THE ACTOR WAS "HAPPY AND FRIENDLY"

Several clubgoers posted clips of Gooding in a torn button-down shirt singing Journey’s song “Faithfully” into a microphone on social media. The actor's fellow partygoers claim that they didn't witness the incident.

“He was super good … sang with everyone,” said a partygoer.

The 51-year-old actor has earned a reputation as a hard-partier in recent years and has been described as a "Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde" swinging from amiable to aggressive in a matter of seconds.

Gooding was married to his high school sweetheart Sara Kapfer for 20 years until they separated in 2014. He filed for divorce in 2017.

Since then, the actor seems to be living an increasingly wild life. He may face charges of forcible touching, a complicated predicament for a man who works in the entertainment industry, in the aftermath of the #MeToo Movement.

The buzz around Hollywood is that actor Cuba Gooding Jr. and Robert De Niro's daughter-in-law, Claudine, are hooking up.

Claudine is none other than the estranged wife of Raphael De Niro, the son of Gooding's costar in "Men of Honor," acclaimed actor, Robert De Niro.

Gooding and Claudine were seen hanging out during Art Basel Miami and partying at the Versace Mansion.
