Tom Hanks' Wife Posts Rare Photo of Their Biracial Granddaughter on Father's Day

Rita Wilson shared a rare photograph of the gorgeous biracial granddaughter she shares with Tom Hanks on Father's Day.

Rita Wilson shared a series of adorable photos on Instagram in honor of husband Tom Hanks on Father's Day.

Among the snaps was one that caught the fans' attention for its rarity: a photo of the couples' adorable biracial granddaughter.

TOM HANKS' ADORABLE BIRACIAL GRANDCHILD

It may be a surprise to some that Tom and Rita's little 3-year-old grandaughter Michaiah is the result of an interracial relationship between their son Chet Hanks and Tiffany Miles.

Little Michaiah calls Tom and Rita adorable pet names: ‘Pappau,’ and ‘Yia Yia’- the same names her two cousins call their grandparents.

Tom has two kids from his previous marriage to Samantha Lewes: Colin, 41, and Elizabeth, 36.

RITA WILSON'S MESSAGE TO THE FATHERS OF THE FAMILY

Rita posted several photos of her sons and Tom with their respective children, but it was Chet's photo with his baby daughter that caught the public's imagination.

"To these good men who are such good fathers and who I love so much, Happy Fathers Day @tomhanks @chethanx @colinhanks," she wrote.

The country star and the Academy Award-winner are faced with a different challenge as grandparents.

"When you have grandkids, if you're with one of them -- or all three of them – look, there's no book, no radio, no TV. You're going to be entertained by them every moment that you're there. Sit back and watch the show!" Tom revealed.

RITA WILSON AND TOM HANKS' ENDURING LOVE

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson met on the set of the TV comedy "Bosom Buddies" in 1980, but the two only became involved in a romantic relationship much later, and married in 1988.

They have now been married for 31 years, quite a feat in Hollywood. They share two sons, Chet, 28, and Truman, 23.

Tom has two kids from his previous marriage to Samantha Lewes: Colin, 41, and Elizabeth, 36.

RITA WILSON'S BATTLE WITH CANCER

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks have been co-chairs along with Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw of the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, raising money for women’s cancers.

But Rita never imagined she'd succumb to the dread disease. In 2015 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

After several months of treatment, Rita was declared cancer-free and has remained healthy ever since.

After her experience, Rita constantly reminds people to make regular cancer diagnosis to detect it in the early stages, when the disease offers the best chance of survival.
