Honey Boo Boo Smiles despite Recent Tears Over Leaving Mama June’s Home

Honey Boo Boo smiled brightly in a new photo post on social media, despite her tears and fears over leaving the only home she’s ever known.

Alana Thompson, fondly called Honey Boo Boo, by family, friends, and fans is showing great strength despite the pain and heartache she is experiencing.

SMILING THROUGH THE PAIN

The 13-year-old star of the reality shows “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in the company of her sister, Pumpkin, John Efird, and baby Ella Grace.

The quartet, dressed in different shades of blue, smiled brightly. The sisters wore blue polo shirts on what appeared to be black jeans, while Efird wore the same colour and type of shirt over blue jeans, with the baby in nothing but diapers.

From the photo, it is clear that the Honey Boo Boo is choosing to smile despite her pain over leaving the home she shared with her mother, Mama June Shannon.

WHY HONEY BOO BOO HAD TO LEAVE

The young TV star left following Shannon’s arrest for cocaine possession in March and her co-habitation with Geno Doak, her boyfriend.

According to TMZ, despite the 39-year-old TLC star's return to her home, Honey Boo Boo has refused to return.

The young TV personality during the season finale of “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” tearfully made it clear that she would love to stay at home with her mother, but can’t because of the older woman’s drug use with Doak.

Honey Boo Boo admitted to her mother and sister’s that she was scared to live in the only home she’s ever known, and chose to live with Pumpkin instead.

HONEY BOO BOO'S TALE OF WOE

If Shannon does not clean up her act and ends up getting convicted for her drug charge, it would be the second time the teenage TLC star would have a parent disappoint her.

Back in 2017, Honey Boo Boo's father, Sugar Bear, bailed on her after getting engaged to Jennifer Lamb and has not been returned since then.

Interestingly, Shannon said at the time that her youngest child was better off without her estranged dad, as she wanted to protect her family from negative influences, which ironically, is what the reality star now represent to her younger daughter.

What the young reality star is going through is hard, and although her sisters' intervention did not give the teenager's mother back to her, it is good to see that she is not letting the sadness eat her up, and is choosing to smile through the tears.
