Princess Diana’s Niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, Steals Hearts in White Guipure Dress at Royal Ascot
Lady Kitty Spencer was a stunning presence at the races after opting to go for a high-fashion extravaganza. As one of the most famous persons from the late Princess Diana’s family, Spencer truly knows how to catch the attention of the public eye.
A week earlier, she attended Royal Ascot, an annual horse racing event held at Berkshire, and impressed everyone in an elegant cream dress from Dolce & Gabbana dress and a matching white-colored hat.
She carried a slim black purse to go with her wardrobe and wore a matching pair of black heels.
However, it was her spectacularly designed hat that drew most of the attention. Spencer had a long black stick attached to the hat.
A source for Page Six commented on the hat, “It was quite a spectacle, Kitty looked gorgeous in a Dolce & Gabbana cream dress, but her hat had a large black stick poking out of it and she couldn’t open the car roof because it was pouring.”
Spencer later also took to Instagram to share a snapshot of herself from her outing at the races.
The photo revealed the intricately-woven floral pattern of her fashionable dress and highlighted the unconventional design of her hat.
In the caption to the photograph, she credited the design of the hat to designer Philip Treacy. She also mentioned that her jewelry was from Bulgari, one of the largest providers of gemstones.
Similarly, she credited her hairstyle to Neville Salon and Kelly May, and her makeup to Charlotte Tilbury and Ed Mellor.
Spencer was also accompanied by several members of the British Royal Family as well as other aristocrats.
Along with the Queen herself, Kate Middleton, Kirsty Gallacher, and Charlotte Hawkins all flaunted their high-fashion dresses during the event.
According to Nine, Royal Ascot maintains a dress guideline, which requires the dress and skirt hemlines to be no shorter than just above the knee. Also, any strap should be at least one inch wide.
Previously, Spencer also made headlines with her fashion-forward avatar during Cash & Rocket Masquerade Ball in London, where she flaunted a huge diamond ring on her hand.
