Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Celebrate 5-Year Anniversary with a Seduction Game & the Kama Sutra
Over the weekend, a reality television couple from Counting On celebrated their 5-year anniversary. The pair made the most of their time away by playing seduction games, eating out, and watching a band perform among other things.
Jill Duggar, 28, and her husband Derick Dillard, 30, spent their wedding anniversary in Branson, Missouri. In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Duggar uploaded a number of images from their special getaway.
In the caption of her post, she revealed that they’d left their two children at home to have some alone time. According to her post, they stayed at a bed and breakfast for their time away.
They also spent part of their visit at Branson’s theme park, Silver Dollar City. The couple made the most of their time in the town and even went to watch their four friends who are part of a Christian acoustic sibling band called Southern Raised.
Duggar revealed that her husband then surprised her with a dinner and a great view at The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks. Then the couple had some alone time back at their accommodation.
Thanking a company called Dating Divas she shared that they had supplied them with “lots of fun, clean, date/marriage tips and ideas!” In one of her series of images, she included a black-and-white photo of a seduction game and the Kama Sutra - a guide to lovemaking.
Their set-up also included a massage oil candle, a plate of Skittles, and a game scorecard that had the heading “Bedroom Edition.” The couple clearly made the most of their getaway!
However, their short anniversary vacation didn’t end there. The pair wrapped up their weekend by going to watch Toy Story 4 at a movie theater.
Duggar shared a selfie of the both of them standing in front of an advert for the animated movie. She held a soda while her husband pointed to the advert while holding a large container of popcorn.
The reality star thanked Dillard’s parents for watching their children while they were away. A few weeks before their anniversary, Duggar opened up about her sex life and gave marital tips.
On the Dillard Family website, she shared some advice in the hopes of getting other couples to not let the “fire in your marriage” die. She’s certainly not shy about speaking about sex!
In the blog post she wrote, “you both need this time together regularly (3-4 times a week is a good start).” She noted that if sex wasn’t possible for health reasons then the couple needed to “find other ways to have fun and be intimate.”
Duggar encouraged couples to keep communication open and “keep things exciting!”
