Keke Palmer Leaves Fans Guessing after Posing with Her 'GF' in Pink Mini Dress

Keke Palmer left some of her fans confused with the caption of her latest Instagram photo, where she’s posing with another lady in the streets of New Orleans. She referred to the girl as her “GF,” and her fans are wondering if she’s Keke’s new romantic interest.

Keke Palmer looks gorgeous in a recent pic shared to Instagram, donning a pink animal print dress and black sneakers. She posed alongside another girl named Jess who rocked a black and white plaid dress and black shoes while squatting next to the “Scream” star.

“Me & My Gf,” Palmer captioned the post, which earned her thousands of comments from confused fans who are now wondering if Keke meant to say girlfriend as in, her partner, or as a girl who’s also her friend.

“Gf may not mean lesbian, that’s another phrase for homegirl,” wrote one user.

Another asked, “When u say gf do u mean lover or just friend?”

And a third one pointed out, “If she is her girlfriend, it's wonderful.”

Palmer didn’t address the questions in the post, but it’s not the first time she deals with curious people trying to find out what is going on in her personal life or her preferences.

In 2015, Palmer released a music video for her song “I Don’t Belong To You,” which starts with Keke in bed with a man, and ends with her meeting a woman—fellow singer Cassie—at her house.

The suggestive scene caused a buzz around Keke’s sexuality, and many people wondered if the video was her coming out, but talking to People magazine at the time, Palmer explained she doesn’t like labels, saying:

“The video was to represent the young woman today – it’s not the traditional woman anymore – and not the specifics of ‘Am I gay? Am I straight? Am I bi? I’m making the rules for myself, and I don’t have to be stuck down to one label.”

The former child star also explained that defining her sexuality to anyone else but herself is pointless.

“I don’t feel the need to define nothin’ to nobody, because I’m always changing,” she explained. “Why say that I’m this or that when I might not be tomorrow? I’m gonna follow my own feelings and my own heart.”

However, as of March, Palmer was dating actor Elvin Jackson, and she was seen having a great time with him in a steamy pic shared to his now-private Instagram account,

Keke is currently filling in for Sara Haines as the co-host of “Good Morning America’s” third-hour show, “Strahan & Sara,” alongside Michael Strahan. Haines is on maternity leave after welcoming a baby boy in June.
