The stunning images were considered extremely daring, and in some, the 37-year-old tennis star showed off a lot more of her toned physique than usual.

Harper's Bazaar's August cover features a daring shot of the tennis star looking back at the camera over her shoulder, wearing only a golden cape that reveals that she is wearing little else.
The gold theme was a constant throughout the shoot, that captured Serena in a variety of different glittering creations.
