Céline Dion's Recent Appearance at Paris Couture Week Has Some Fans Worried about Her Health
Céline Dion’s fans show concern over the singer’s “scarily thin” appearance during Paris Couture Week where she wore a red netted dress captured by Vogue Australia’s Instagram account.
Besides being a world-renowned singer, Céline Dion has always been a fashion icon, appearing in many shows and wearing different designer clothes. This year’s Paris Fashion week was no different for the star who pulled off different fashionable pieces.
However, her 3D red netted dress which she wore to Iris van Herpen’s show, stood out among the rest for the wrong reasons. Fans of the singer came to a discussion about Dion’s health after appearing “scarily thin” in photos.
“#CelineDion has become a regular fixture at the #hautecouture shows and as the seasons progress it's becoming clear that she might just be couture's biggest fan. Already, the pop music icon has stolen the show for autumn/winter ’19/’20 with her incredible street style and front row ensembles.”
The photo has since caused a debate on whether the singer is underweight. In the comment section, Instagram users took the liberty to voice out their opinions and concerns on Dion’s health, even with one suggesting she has anorexia nervosa.
On the other hand, there were a good number of people who believed the Vogue Australia chose an “unflattering” photo of the star, which could have been avoided had they carefully looked through other shots.
Towards the end of June, the “To Love You More” artist walked the streets of Paris in a Channel unitard which had a ‘double C’ logo of the brand on the straps. The artist paired her clothing from the SS19 collection with a $1700 logo belt of the same brand.
Dion’s photos showed her slim physique and radiant beauty. She shared her tips on This Morning, to keeping a youthful glow:
“On stage, I don’t use water base make-up, I use oil based make-up. Because sometimes things may get emotional and I might cry. Water-based, if I cry, it’s gonna streak but oil based it stays in place so that I can wipe it off.”
