Kandi Burruss' Post Goes Wrong after Sharing Photo of Kenya Moore-Hater Michael Rapaport
Kandi Burruss recently had fans fuming after sharing a photo with Michael Rapaport. For years now, the comedian/actor has been mortal enemies with Burruss’s close friend and former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Kenya Moore.
Burruss, 43, was at a BIG3 basketball game earlier this month when she took a selfie in which she was flanked on both sides by rapper/league co-founder Ice Cube and Rapaport, 49.
“Came to check out @thebig3 game. @michaelrapaport & @icecube are in the building!” Burruss announced, but she may not have anticipated the fury that erupted in the comment section.
“Ask Michael why he soooo obsessed with Kenya. He’s [a] damn hater,” one Instagram user wrote.
“Not a fan [of Michael Rapaport],” chimed in another. “He doesn’t like Kenya and posted a pic of a gorilla in reference to her.”
“Lost all respect for him,” echoed a third angry fan while a fourth refused to acknowledge the “Higher Learning” alum:
“Well, Kandi & Ice Cube look amazing! I refuse to acknowledge that other ‘thing’ that’s between them since he loves disrespecting women.”

THE INFAMOUS FEUD
Rapaport and Moore’s feud go as far back as 2016 when the former made a Twitter comment about an RHOA episode where housewife Porsha Williams got physical with Moore.
“Krazy @KenyaMoore was bullying @Porsha4real went she got the wig snatched,” Rapaport tweeted. “She should have no regrets about that wig snatch.”
Moore, 48, saw the tweet and wasted no time shooting off a clapback. “[You] are pathetic & ignorant [for] promoting violence on any level,” she wrote. “Please get a job [to] keep [your] cable [to] watch me every week.”
THE FEUD GETS BIGGER
Things escalated last year when RHOA boss Andy Cohen booked Moore and Rapaport to appear at the same time on his late night talk show “Watch What Happens Live!”
During the episode, Moore and the comedian threw endless shade at each other. Rapaport told Moore, “You wish you were me” to which the reality star replied: “A middle-aged, fat white guy? Not really.”
Rapaport then went too far by calling out Moore’s feet and claiming they were “Ashy as [expletive],” a move that earned him massive backlash from the online community. Apparently, Rapaport’s sins are not forgotten, and Burruss’s selfie dug up old dirt.
WILL THEIR FRIENDSHIP SURVIVE THIS?
The photo might have also been more controversial because Moore and Burruss are close friends and even maintained their relationship after the former was left out of season 11 of RHOA.
Burruss was one of the many guests at Moore’s fairytale-themed baby shower last October, and after the former Miss USA welcomed her daughter in November, Burruss was one of the few housewives to visit them.
Hopefully, Burruss’s selfie does not hurt her relationship with Moore, and maybe fans will get to see how it all plays out on RHOA’s upcoming season since it’s been confirmed that Moore is making her long-awaited return to the show.
