The recent mother might still be on maternity leave, but she wouldn’t have missed the chance to meet and greet one of the world’s most famous music stars and a fellow American at the red carpet event.

Disney’s remake of its animated classic “The Lion King” premiered on the English capital on July 14, and one of the film’s voice actresses, 37-year-old pop star Beyoncé attended the event in the company of her husband, rapper Jay-Z.

The “Formation” singer starred in a memorable moment alongside also 37-year-old Meghan Markle, who made an exception on her maternity leave to be present at the London premiere, accompanied by 34-year-old Prince Harry.

A HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MEETING

The meeting was highly anticipated by fans of both Markle and Beyoncé, who were expecting the two to get together for the first time at the event.

The news of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plans to attend the premiere was confirmed earlier by Buckingham Palace, setting the alarms for the public immediately.

"Buckingham Palace confirms that Duchess Meghan will be joining Harry on the carpet for the #LionKing premiere this Sunday,” Royal correspondent Omie Scobie tweeted on June 28.

“And yes, @Beyonce’s people tell me that she will be attending. Expect the internet break down," the journalist added.

THEY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT

Beyoncé and Markle gave the public what they wanted when they were finally introduced, sharing a hug in what was an iconic moment reportedly shown on the big screen inside the movie theater.

The encounter comes months after Beyoncé and her 49-year-old husband posed in front of a regal portrait of Meghan Markle after the star couple won a joint Brit Award for Best International Group back in February.

TWO STYLISH COUPLES

For the premiere of “The Lion King” Beyoncé, who voices Nala on the film, wore a revealing floor-length gold dress with Bardot sleeves, which featured a thigh-high slit.

Markle opted for a more discreet mesh panel flare dress by Jason Wu, and she styled her hair in a bun.

As of Harry and Jay-Z, the two looked damper wearing their black tuxedos as they witnessed the historical meeting. Harry also greeted the former “Destiny’s Child” member with a kiss on the cheek.

SHARING PARENTING ADVICE

During the brief chat between the British Royals and American show business royalty, first-time parents Harry and Markle gave the Carters an update about two-month-old Archie Harrison.

In response to Beyoncé, who told Markle that her firstborn was “so beautiful,” Harry revealed an important milestone for his son, telling the recording artists that Archie already holds his neck up and is “not so little anymore.”

Jay-Z, who shares three children with Beyoncé, also gave the new parents a piece of advice.

“The best advice I can give you, always find some time for yourself,” the rapper told the Duke and Duchess.
