New 'Dog's Most Wanted' Trailer Shows Beth Chapman's Struggles with Cancer Amid a Bounty Hunt
On Monday, the WGN America network revealed the premiere date for the new bounty hunting series, Dog's Most Wanted. The preview showed that one of the main stars, who’s since passed on, spoke candidly about her cancer battle.
Duane "Dog" Chapman, 66, and his late wife Beth Chapman, 51, will feature on Dog's Most Wanted. A new trailer also revealed the official premiere date for the show.
The new show’s trailer showed a preview of Beth speaking openly about her stage 4 throat and lung cancer battle. In the short clip, the late reality star admitted that she was “going to die,” but vowed to do so in her “boots.”
BETH'S CONTINUED FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
Despite being gravely ill, the clip revealed how Beth hunted the most wanted fugitives aggressively with her husband. One scene shows the family and their team bowing their heads and praying together before a hunt.
Sadly, due to complications from the disease, the reality star passed away on June 26. In a statement, Duane spoke about his wife’s legacy in starring in the new show.
DUANE SPEAKS ABOUT HIS WIFE'S LEGACY
“My wife is, was, and always will be the heart and soul of Dog’s Most Wanted. Beth wanted nothing more than for the show to go on, and I am so proud of the legacy that she left behind.”
NETWORK'S PRESIDENT SHARES ABOUT THE SHOW
Gavin Harvey, the President of WGN America, also released a statement about the upcoming series. He stated: “WGN America is excited to share Dog’s and Beth’s latest and most exhilarating hunt with the world.”
Addressing the aim of the show he noted how the Chapmans were loved “by millions of fans” who adored their continued “pursuit of justice and loyalty to each other and their family.” Harvey concluded by hinting that the series would “capture all of this.”

The series was produced by Dorsey Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company, along with Entertainment by Bonnie and Clyde, which the Chapman couple are executive producers for. Chris Dorsey and Matt Assmus worked as executive producers for Dorsey Pictures.
