Joy-Anna Duggar Revealed How She’s Doing after Her Miscarriage in June
Following her miscarriage in June, famous "Counting On" star, Joy-Anna Duggar has taken to social media to give fans an update of her and her family's wellbeing.
Joy, the ninth of the 19 Duggar children, shared the picture of a Bible verse, Psalm 147:3, on Instagram. She also penned down a heartfelt message to accompany the photo.
JOY'S EMOTIONAL MESSAGE IS CRY-WORTHY
Joy's caption, which is more like a short written sermon, is what has gained attention. The post takes on an inspirational turn as the gorgeous reality star honestly shares what life is like after she lost her 20 weeks old baby. Joy emotionally wrote:
"Our hearts are healing. Yes, those days come that I miss my little girl so much. Wishing I could have met her, seen Austin love on her and Gideon play with her. Yet, God has given us so much comfort."
The caption continued with Joy countering the common belief that she seems to be very strong. She instead said that it is "Jesus' strength that has carried me through." She further wrote:
"He's given me a peace that passes all understanding, and he has given me His JOY. No one ever cared for me like Jesus."
She concluded the lengthy message by writing out the same verse pictured as well as another, which detailed the Lord's comforting spirit. The verse, Psalm 34:18-19, reads:
"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all."
THE DUGGAR SIBLINGS REACT TO JOY'S NEW POST
Joy has, however, been able to convey her real emotions by sharing this post. Her siblings and other close relations showed support as they took to the comments section.
Her big sister, Lauren, @siandlaurenduggar, wrote:
"Those verses were so comforting for me as well. You two are on my mind and prayers constantly. Love you both - Lauren."
While Anna, @annaduggar commented:
"Such a beautiful and comforting promise! Love you guys so much."
Last month, June, tragedy rocked Joy and her husband of two years, Austin Forsyth. The pair made the sad announcement early July and revealed that they made the discovery when they went in for their 20-week ultrasound and gender check.
The heartbreaking news quickly garnered attention as netizens took to social platforms to share their condolences. Soon after, it appeared the beautiful parents of one were doing very well.
The 21-year-old beauty would share numerous photos of time with her little family and captioned it with sweet messages. It is perhaps why many found and still find her strength to move on quite laudable.
Rest in peace, little Annabell.
