Tyler Perry's longtime girlfriend, Gelila Bekele went down memory lane with a recent post on her Instagram page.

The 32-year-old model posted a throwback photo of her grandmother (who she resembles) receiving her diploma. Being educated is a critical aspect of human life, as it has many advantages.

The supermodel posted a picture, showing her grandmother, (who is the first person to ever graduate from her family) receiving a diploma in Commerce.

The striking resemblance between Gelila and the older woman was evident in the picture, and most of her fans pointed out that fact.

Gelila's caption of the post read:

"Grandma receiving her diploma from Commerce, as a mom of 3. #Ethiopia #Education the greatest equalizer," and she signed off with a big heart emoji.

The caption showed that the Ethiopian-born model does appreciate the importance of education in bridging the gap between worlds and putting everyone on an equal playing ground.

Most people who commented agreed with her notion, while some chose to point out the striking resemblance between Gelila and her grandmother.
