Sasha Alexander of NCIS and Husband Edoardo Ponti Celebrate Their Wedding Anniversary (Photo)

Sasha Alexander recently celebrated 12 years as a married woman with her husband Edoardo Ponti by posting a photo of the two in Puglia, Italy, looking quite in love.

In the picture, the 46-year-old actress can be seen wearing a white dress with blue, red and yellow dots on it as she holds Ponti's hands and looks at the camera.

It seems that after so long, the couple is still madly in love and Alexander claimed that Ponti still makes her feel like she is his new girlfriend.

THEIR CHILDREN – WHO ARE THEY?

Alexander and Ponti, the son of actress Sophia Loren and film producer Carlo Ponti, tied the knot in 2007 in Geneva, Switzerland, and have two children together.

Their daughter, Lucia, was born a year before their wedding and has actress Jessica Capshaw as godmother, while their son, Leonardo, was born in 2010.

PONTI'S ADORABLE PARENTING GESTURE

Last year, during an interview with KTLA 5, Ponti revealed how he wrote letters to Sophia while she was still in the womb at least once a week:

"They are basically letters to my child on life, on love, on relationships, on my own childhood memories, on mistakes I have made, lessons I have learned. It's like an instruction manual for my kid starting life.”

HOW DID THEY MEET

The proud parents met just a few months after Alexander's mother, Dobrila Pavlovich, ran into Ponti. Pavlovich was so impressed with him that she introduced him to her daughter.

At the time, the former star of "Rizzoli & Isles" was quite shocked by the man her mother had met because Pavlovich had no idea that Ponti was the son of such distinguished figures.

They started talking at the University of Southern California's film school, where Alexander was a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta, and dated for a short while.

They now have a happy marriage and Alexander often shares photos of their private lives, including pictures of their adorable children who are so grown up.
