Pam from Total Warns about Ex-Husband Jaime 'J.' Long after He Marries Cyntoia Brown
Shortly after her release, we learned that Cyntoia Brown married Jamie “J. Long while still in prison. Jamie is the ex-husband of Total singer, Pam Long who recently issued a warning for Cyntoia to be wary of her former husband.
News of Cyntoia’s August 7 release after 15 years in prison was well-received by the public who think the 31-year-old deserves a second chance. She was sentenced to prison for murdering a sex-solicitor who she claims threatened her life.
In the heels of her release, people were surprised to learn that Cyntoia had gotten married in jail to Christian rapper, Jamie Long who seemed to confirm the news in a series of Instagram posts featuring a diamond ring on Cyntoia's finger.
It’s unknown when the couple tied the knot and how they met but Daily Mail reported that Jamie served prison time in 2004 for assaulting a public servant.
Not to burst Cyntoia’s bubble, but Jamie’s ex, Pamela Long couldn’t help delivering some bad news about her new husband. Speaking from her experience of being married to the man from 2013 to 2016, Pam revealed his “manipulative” and “diabolical" nature.
“It’s about who she is in the public eye and what she has. By her having this face in the media it helps him to have a chance to be around what he deems as the elites.”
Pam sent a statement to The Neighborhood Talk who shared her insights in a post on the outlet’s Instagram. Apart from claiming Jamie was unfaithful to her throughout their marriage, Pam also warned Cyntoia about the kind of man her new husband was.
“This man is diabolical and he is such a manipulator. The way this man pursued this woman is the way he did me. He came and found me using the same card, “He was a Christian artist,” she said.
Pam added that Jamie was hungry for fame and suggested he may be using Cyntoia’s popularity to achieve it. “May the Lord God protect her and her money,” she prayed.

Pam clarified that she wasn’t revealing this out of bitterness. In spite of what she wrote, she wishes the couple well. However, she warns Cyntoia, “Mr. Long may be able to hide behind his handsome looks of being a good man, but God knows the heart and exposure is coming.”
News of Cyntoia’s marriage came to light when publisher Atria Books revealed the ex-convict was married while promoting her upcoming memoir, "Free Cyntoia: My Search for Redemption in the American Prison System.”
