Angelina Jolie’s Son Maddox Is All Grown up and He’s Reportedly College Bound

Angelina Jolie’s son, Maddox, is set to study biochemistry in a South Korean university.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt, who recently turned 18, will start attending Yonsei University this month of August, as reported by PEOPLE.

While the eldest of Jolie’s children will be far away from America, Maddox will be closer to the family’s home in Cambodia.

“He got accepted to other universities but choose Yonsei,” PEOPLE quoted an unnamed source as saying. “He has been studying Korean language. He has lessons multiple times a week to prepare.”

The source added that Jolie is a proud mother as she drops him off in South Korea for his studies.

CLOSE TO THEIR CAMBODIAN HOME

Back in November 2018, Maddox and his mother were spotted visiting universities in South Korea.

They visited campuses in Seoul while Jolie was in the country on an official visit as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR) Special Envoy.

While the eldest of Jolie’s children will be far away from America, Maddox will be closer to the family’s home in Cambodia.

He’ll surely be visited by his family, including his siblings, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Jolie previously spoke about Maddox’s college plans, telling PEOPLE that she was “nothing but proud.” She added, “I look forward to all he will do.”

A BREAKUP THAT SHOCKED THE WORLD

Jolie separated from actor Brad Pitt in September 2016 after two years of marriage. The former couple had been together for 12 years.

Their split resulted in a custody battle for their six children. Earlier this year, Jolie was spotted at a grocery store with three of her children on Mother’s Day.

Dressed in a black tank top and skinny black pants, the famous actress was photographed with Zahara and the twins, Knox and Vivienne, as they were leaving a grocery store in Los Angeles on a special day for mothers.
