'Sesame Street' Actor Roscoe 'Gordon' Orman Is 75 Now and His Lookalike Son Has 2 Children

The star actor, Gordon is no longer the vibrant young dad, but a 75-year-old grandad, whose adult son also starred in his hit movie.

"Sesame Street" was one of the shows that captivated families, and left many engrossed on the screens for hours, back in the late '80s.

Parents and kids could not help but love the fictional Gordon from the '70s hit movie, "Sesame Street," for his kind-hearted, easygoing nature, and genuine love for his wife, Susan, and adopted son, Miles.

However, what most did not realize at the time was that his fictional son is indeed the actor's legitimate, off-the-screen son, Miles Orman. Over three decades down the line, Roscoe Orman, who played the lead role as Gordon has secured the family his fictional character could only dream of.

THE BOY FROM "SESAME STREET"

Miles Orman was about a year old during his first appearance on the series, which ran for several years. Thirty years into the future, the one-time toddler-actor is now a 34-year-old father of two.

He is married to the love of his life, Jasaline Orman, and the pair have been together for eight years and blessed with two youngsters, a girl, and a boy.

Despite having an early start in the movie industry, and being good at role-playing, Roscoe's son never developed a flair for acting. Instead, his interest was piqued by college basketball.

GORDON'S SCANDALS

After having a grown son and two grandkids, no one expects the '80s star to look the same still. On the contrary, the legendary actor is now seventy-five, has grey hair, and has experienced his dose of court cases, including a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend over palimony.

The star dated his ex, Miles' mom for 39 years before their breakup. After the breakup, 63-year-old, Sharon Joiner sued the actor for dumping her for a younger woman after living a couple's life for almost four decades.

The court ruled in her favor and ordered the actor to pay Sharon monthly support of $3600 as compensation for her years with him.

MILES HAS A HALF SISTER

The court settlement was, however, not enough to sate Sharon's wounded heart. In 2013, the then 63-year-old made a shocking revelation about the actor that tainted his image, for life.

She opened up about a secret child the icon had with a one-night-stand while blasting him on-air for getting another woman pregnant at the same time she was pregnant with Roscoe's second child. The "love child," Kalah Hill, is 32 now, and has a family of her own, just like her half brother.

However, the 32-year-old, who has since made peace with her dad still bears the brunt of knowing she was kept hidden for the most part of her life, while her famous dad paid off her mom to keep her a secret.

That's definitely a scandal the beloved Gordon would never get caught up in, but on the brighter side, the actor now has the large family his fictional character would have killed for.
