Wearing tropical outfits, her eldest, Maxwell Drew holds up little sister, Birdie Mae. The girls look ready for a Hawaiian getaway.

Birdie Mae’s outfit is styled with a straw hat and Maxwell Drew completes her look with her ponytail braided to one side.

Opening up to PEOPLE, Simpson confesses that the dynamics of raising three children have kept her and husband, Eric Johnson on their toes. Other than Maxwell Drew and Birdie Mae, the couple also have a son, Ace Johnson.

The singer, actress, model and fashion mogul doesn’t seem like she plans on slowing down anytime soon.

In the exclusive with PEOPLE, she shares with the magazine that she is writing a memoir. She cites timing as the reason for writing a book at this stage in her life, she says:

“I hope that by telling my whole story and not holding back I can help move people to walk through their fears and defeat their challenges, as I am working hard to do every day with mine. I hope readers will feel the love, laughter, tears and truth contained in every page.”

Her book is expected to be out in February 2020. Since becoming a mother Simpson has shared most of the details of her life on social media from pregnancy woes to precious parenting moments, her life has certainly acquired a wealth of experience that will make for a good read.
