Robin Roberts & Her Partner Amber Dance to Taylor Swift at Her GMA Central Park Concert
Famous "Good Morning America" anchor, Robin Roberts proves herself to be a Taylor Swift fan as she and her girlfriend are videoed excitedly dancing to one of the singer's hit songs.
Roberts took to Instagram to share the video with her massive fan following. The short clip is only a day old, but it has already amassed well over one hundred thousand likes.
It features the anchor dancing joyously to a Taylor Swift song in public.
She made a gorgeous spectacle dancing so excitedly sitting beside Amber Laign, her girlfriend of over a decade. Laign was also part of the fun and even reached over to hold Robert's hand as they danced with a large audience, standing and watching them.
Funny enough, it seemed like the couple were the only ones on a sugar rush. Their lively vibe is, however, so infectious that it makes whoever watches the video break into smiles.
"Before heading to LA Sweet Amber joined me in the Park...soooo much fun listening to @taylorswift with all her devoted fans! Not mad at @diandretristan for shouting Amber's name & messin' with our groove!" Roberts wrote alongside a laughing emoji.
The humorous undertone of the gorgeous star's caption hints at how she must have had so much fun, and she even tagged Taylor Swift.
Trust netizens and their keen observations, many pointed out how charming it is that Roberts always addresses Amber saying, "Sweet Amber."
The comment section is filled with hundreds of compliments for the beautiful couple. One fan, @chagnonlisa wrote:
"Such a great video!! I love that you always call her "Sweet Amber".. you to always have so much fun! My husband always calls me his blushing bride.. 25 years later! You too are so special!!"
While another, @pjmama719 even inquired about their relationship:
"You ladies have some great dance moves! Have you ladies talked about getting married?"
That would indeed make big news for the couple who have been together for about 14 years now. The relationship kicked off sometime in 2005 long before Roberts even publicly came out to disclose her sexuality.
Thanks to their apparent fondness for each other, the pair have grown to become a fan favourite. Roberts, who will mark her 59th birthday in a few months, once openly discussed Laign while speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
There, she disclosed that they met on a blind date and by the look of things they hit it off quite well. Theirs is a love that everyone approves of, and the reason couldn't be more visible.
Through the worst – Roberts' widely publicized battle with myelodysplastic syndrome – they have displayed immense strength, and that alone is admirable.
