Tiger Woods, His Son Charlie, and Girlfriend Erica Herman All Attended the Us Open to Cheer on Serena Williams
Tiger Woods took a break from golf and cheered on Serena Wiliams at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Tiger Woods forgot his own injury troubles by watching Serena Williams's quarterfinal match against China's Qiang Wang alongside his mini-me son and his girlfriend.
The golfing legend had watched Rafa Nadal defeat Marin Cilic in his U.S. Open's Round of 16, and came back to watch Serena's crushing victory against the Chinese player.
TIGER WOODS WATCHES SERENA WILIAMS WITH HIS SON CHARLIE
Woods took along his 10-year-old mini-me, Charlie, and both wore Nike tops and baseball caps, Tiger's was white, and his son's navy blue.
Next to him sat his girlfriend Erica Herman, who looked cool and elegant in a silky white camisole top and ripped blue jeans.
SERENA WILLIAMS IN THE SEMI-FINALS
Willimas delivered a decisive win against Qiang Wang 6-1, 6-0 to win her spot in the US Open semi-finals on September 10. Will the Woods family be back to cheer her on? Probably, since Tiger is in recovery and forbidden to head for the golf courses.
"DON'T TAKE MY HAT!"
The cameras captured some sweet moments between father and son, as Charlie pranked his dad by sneaking off his cap; and when Tiger cheered, Charlie copied his every move, pumping his tiny fist into the air.
TIGER WOODS PROMISES TO BE BACK ON THE COURSE SOON
Woods, who is recovering from surgery to repair damage to the cartilage of his left knee, has assured fans that he will be back playing his beloved golf in early October.
Charlie is Woods' son by his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, with whom he also shares a daughter, Sam, 12.
He is now in a committed relationship with restaurant manager Erica Herman, but neither have hinted at any plans to wed.
RELIVING A HISTORIC MOMENT
Back in 1997, 21-year-old Tiger Woods won his first masters, and the moment was captured on camera for posterity, but now the golfer has a new photo to celebrate a new feat.
To celebrate winning his 5th Masters, Woods was photographed hugging his son Charlie in the same spot in which he'd hugged his own father.
Will Charlie follow in his father's footsteps and add a third historic photo to the family album as he wins his own first Masters?
