Dwayne Johnson Left His Honeymoon Early to Sub for Kevin Hart on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' Premiere
The recently wed The Rock dashed back from his honeymoon to fill in for Kevin Hart on Kelly Clarkson's new show.
On September 1, Kevin Hart, who was to be Kelly Clarkson's first guest on her brand new show, was involved in a car crash and injured.
Dwayne Johnson who was enjoying his honeymoon with his new bride Lauren Hashian, immediately flew back to LA to cover for his friend and co-star.
NEWLYWED THE ROCK TO THE RESCUE
Dwayne had married his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian on August 18 in Kauai and was enjoying the idylls of Hawaii when he heard that Kelly had been left without a guest for her first show.
The delighted Kelly gave fans a sneak peek at the premiere set for September 9 and said:
“What none of you know is that my first guest day was supposed to be actor and comedian Kevin Hart. Kevin was seriously injured in a car accident, he’s okay and recovering, but because Kevin couldn’t be here, one of his good friends stepped the heck up. And I love him.”
Eniko Parrish Hart has assured the anxious fans that Hart's prognosis for a full recovery are excellent.
DWAYNE JOHNSON'S MESSAGE TO KEVIN HART
Dwayne and Kevin are close friends, and have co-starred in several movies together, including the "Jumanji" franchise and "Central Intelligence." The Rock had a special message for Kevin.
"Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real.We have a lot more laughing to do together.Love you man. Stay strong ??" he wrote.
"BIG DADDY STEPS IN"
The Rock revealed that Lauren supported his decision to interrupt their honeymoon because she likes Kelly Clarkson so much.
“When my son @KevinHart4real goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in. I did leave my honeymoon early (Lauren approved cos she LOVES Kelly) and now me and Kelly are new best friends. Tune in this Monday! We had the best time! #greathost #hotcrowd #amazingenergy,” he tweeted.
THE NEW SHOW IS SET TO BE A HUGE SUCCESS
In the short promotional clip that Kelly shared, she gives viewers a tiny glimpse of her audience's astonished reaction to seeing The Rock walk in, and it looks like the show is going to be a big hit.

KEVIN HART INVOLVED IN SERIOUS ACCIDENT
On the early morning of September 1, 2019, Kevin Hart had been involved in a serious car accident in Los Angeles.
Hart was not behind the wheel if his classic 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. The driver was his friend, Jared Black, and his fiancee, Rebecca Broxterman was the other passenger.
Witnesses heard the screeching of tires as the car turned at high speed from Cold Canyon onto Mulholland Highway then it veered off the road and smashed into some fencing.
Hart went home but was later rushed to the hospital for back surgery, Black was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center, but no further updates on his condition have been issued.
