Markle chose unique accessories for the meaningful day from the "people's Princess" jewelry collection. She went with gorgeous butterfly stud earrings, and a gold bracelet adorned with diamonds and Sapphire stones.

The earrings were hidden behind her blown-out brunette curls and were only visible when the Duchess tucked her hair behind her ear, while the bracelet adorned her right arm.

Princess Diana wore the butterfly studs to Canada in '86, and she wore the bracelet to Lord Gage Center for Old People in East London, in '90.

WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN

Markle wore hers to an event that the Princess of Wales would have supported had she lived. The Smart Set collection was made in partnership with Smart Works Charity and collaboration with four fashion houses, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Jigsaw, and Misha Nonoo.

The Facebook page of the Royal family, while announcing the launch wrote that the collection features five prices of workwear essentials that will equip Smart Works clients with the classic prices they need to start careers as professionals.

In her speech at the launch which took place at John Lewis in Oxford, Markle noted that the collection was all about "Women supporting women," and added that

"As women, it is 100% our responsibility to support, and uplift each other."

IT WAS MARKLE'S FIRST EVENT AFTER MATERNITY LEAVE

The former actress created the line after she noticed during her visits to Smart Works that the clothes donated to the women were either not right for what they need it for, or oversized.

The launch marked the Duchess's return to work after being away since giving birth to her son, Archie, with Prince Harry, in May. She rocked pieces from the Smart Set and stunned in slim black pants from Jigsaw, white shirt from Nonoo, and stiletto pumps.

The event was equally not the first time Markle wore the butterfly stud and gold bracelet. She had it on during a trip to Sydney, Australia last October with Prince Harry. And in the past, the mom-of-one has worn similar items that belonged to Princess Diana.

The Duchess of Sussex debuted Princess Diana’s emerald cut Aquamarine ring as she stepped out for her wedding reception.

The Duchess would continue to honor her mother-in-law with her pieces of jewelry, and the best part is that's she always wears them for meaningful occasions.
